I finally figured out how to change my blog background. It wasn't hard at all! My sister scared me off after she told me when she changed hers, she lost all of her sidebar things (including the links to all her friends - what a pain!). Someone pointed me to the MatieKay blog (I'm sure I'm the last person in the world to find out about this) and assured me she includes lots of boxes so that your links don't disappear (not sure what the boxes were all about, but it sounded good to me), so I took the plunge, and it worked! So now I can change up my background with the best of them.
I chose the pink dots - they're kind of festive for Valentine's Day, but not so over-the-top holiday-ish that I can't leave them up for a bit longer, if that's what I decide to do. It's the same background MatieKay has on her blog now, too, so I'm sure that helped influence my decision. Now I've just got to figure out how to make a cute header. First, to find a pic I like!

Love the new background. I still haven't figured out how not to lose everything. Last time I changed, I paid a heavy price, so I will have to get your help next time I need a change!
