So, any chance of jeans like these coming back in style? I actually need them to be the kind that are splattered with neon paint (I seriously can't believe no one has a picture of acid-wash, neon-paint splattered jeans on the internet, at least not available through Google images!), since it was a hot pink crayon I found melted all over my dryer and 4 or 5 pairs of jeans this morning. Argh! That's the 3rd time in probably 4 or 5 months! I have GOT to start checking pockets religiously. I always check mine, but the kids so rarely have things in their pockets (actually, Audrey so rarely has pockets at all, being an uber-fan of the dress), that I just skip it and throw them right in. Hopefully 3rd time's the charm, and I will learn from this extremely painful lesson. Silver lining: 2 of my favorite pairs of jeans were hung to dry, so escaped being eightie-fied. Also, my sister and brother evidently found me an awesome pair of jeans at Last Chance in Arizona for a song, so I do have a new pair of jeans to look forward to!
This was all right before I headed out the door for a root canal. Yes, a simply lovely morning. Silver lining: Would you believe lying in the dentist's chair can actually be relaxing? It is when you're escaping 2 little bundles of energy. Particularly if you throw in a legal high (thank you, inventor of nitrous oxide) along with it!
I have to say, the day got progressively better. We met at Michelle's house for lunch, and then took the kids over to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. It felt so good to get out. The kids loved the sand and water area and would have stayed there for hours, if I'd let them. Luckily, I was able to lure them away because Aunt Carol and Laura stopped by on the way up to the airport. It was so fun to visit with them for a couple of minutes. I wish we'd had more time, but I know they had a busy weekend of wedding dress shopping - what fun! We swung by Costco, and then Adam fell asleep on the way home. I'm keeping my fingers crossed he stays that way through the night, though chances are pretty slim, since he fell asleep about 6 p.m. Speak of the devil, he's coming down the stairs right now. I have a feeling we're in for a long night.

For your pants, I'm not sure if this will work, but it's worth a shot.... get a brown paper bag and an iron. Put the paper bag between the pants and the iron, and it MAY pull the wax out of the pants....
