Now I Really AM Out of a Job
Last night, I was cleaning up the kitchen after dinner (eggs & pancakes again, Jared was working late). I had thrown Adam in the bath before I started cleaning up, because he had syrup and whipped cream in his hair (yeah, we do pancakes right around here, with plenty of sweet toppings!). Audrey told me she wanted to wash Adam's hair, and I said I'd be right up to help her. Well, I guess she didn't want to wait, because the next thing I know, Audrey and Adam are both coming downstairs. Adam's hair is washed, he's diapered, and he's got his jammies on! Now, maybe this is behavior to be expected from a 5 year old, but I have a hard time getting her to get herself out of the bath and dressed for bed, so I'm glad to know she can actually do it - and without me asking!

How dreamy is that! That is a great job to be OUT of! Tell her she can come over and handle that at our house too.
I don't think you're out of a job ... it just means that you're doing awesome at your job. You've trained her so well ... who knows what else she's capable of being trained to do? Maybe she could scrub your bathtub or vacuum the stairs? The possibilities are endless ...
What a wonderful thing!! I can only hope that Mikayla will be able to do that one day (in the distant future of course). I will just be happy when they are able to take a bath together!
wow! Can audrey come to our house for a while!? I can't even get my 7 and 8 year olds to do that! You are doing something right!
