Incidentally, this is the second time this has happened in 3 days. I am so ready for Winter to be over! We actually made it out of the driveway this morning, but couldn't make it up the hill that's about halfway to church (Stake Conference today), so we turned around and came home (and had to leave the car at the bottom of the driveway). Better than Friday, when I tried to take Audrey to school (after shoveling the driveway 3 times that morning), and ended up doing a 180 on the driveway and getting stuck in a snowbank at the bottom of the driveway. Luckily, JJ and a neighbor across the street came upon us and towed us out. I was so grateful for their help!
I guess the snow hasn't been all bad. Yesterday, Blake brought Elijah and Chloe over to go sledding on the hill in our backyard. Since I'm not a cold-weather kind of girl, I let the dads do the sledding, while I stayed inside and made hot chocolate. Chloe tends to agree with me, and stayed inside as well (or maybe it was just too tempting to stay inside and play with all of Audrey's toys when she wasn't around to boss or withhold!). Looking at that picture of your driveway makes me not miss the fact that we hardly ever get snow down here. I think Mikayla would disagree though - she loved playing in the little bit of snow that we did get.
