It's Nothing Personal
With 2 little kids who LOVE to play with the phone, my phone seems to often be off the hook. Combine that with our new(ish) phone service which includes voice mail on the phone (yes, we have arrived...but I'm used to the blinking light of an answering machine beckoning me to check messages), and it's evidently adding up to a lot of phone calls and messages going unnoticed. I checked my messages a couple of nights ago for the first time in about a week, and there were 20. So, to all of you who left me messages, I wasn't ignoring you. I wasn't avoiding you. I was just oblivious. Don't take it personally.

Yeah, it takes me forever to check my messages. I just look at the caller ID. I think a lot of us are that way.
like the background! more hightech than mine! i've had the phone thing too, katie gets a hold of it and then i look at the phone and it says "talk" 145 minutes...oops it's been off the hook for hours! oh well
