I was tagged by Kim, so now you all get to learn a little more about me.
Anyway, here are the rules.
Four people will be tagged. You have to answer the questions, then post on the person tagged, let them know they are tagged, and then they post the answers. It is always fun to learn more about people!!!
10 Years ago: I was finishing up my freshman year at BYU. That semester I took Biology, Calculus, Book of Mormon (2nd half), New Testament (2nd half - yes, Julie, it's been 10 years since Bro. Kline and those horribly specific quizzes about the travels of Paul!), and Intro to Film. I spent more time playing than studying, and my grades reflected that. I was working at Easy Pickins, learning sandwich-making skills that my husband still lauds me for. If this were May of 2008 and not March of 2008, I could say I'd just met my future husband!
5 Things on my To Do List Today!
short list for me, since it's already 4:30!
1. find out if we have Scouts tonight (have I mentioned my new calling on here yet?)
2. fix dinner (I'm thinking tacos)
3. clean up a bit
4. call my sister in law to tell her I can babysit her kids tomorrow
5. catch up on some of the TV I missed while I was gone (Jared's going to be in San Diego again tonight)
Things I would do if I were a Billionaire
1. I'd buy a home in a warmer climate (thinking San Diego, since Jared could easily transfer there, but then again, would he really need to keep working?), and a private jet to fly back and visit family whenever I want.
2. Housekeeping services are a must, along with yardwork. I think I'd continue to do my own cooking, though, and possibly maintain a small garden on my own.
3. Travel - Hawaii and Europe are at the top of the list, but there are tons of places I'd love to go.
4. Philanthropy - I'd love to help out friends and family with things they need, and also give to larger organizations that further causes I support.
5. Definitely go back and get a Master's degree, possibly a Ph.D or M.D. (a girl can dream!). Jared, too, if he wanted. College for the kids, as well.
I can't think of any other "major" things I'd do with it. While I think I'd still be a bargain shopper (can't stand to pay more than I have to, whether I have the money or not!), I'd love to have the freedom to buy what I want without having to think about whether I have the money. I don't think I'd really change my lifestyle that much, though - I don't think I'd want to buy a huge old house, or go to really fancy parties or that kind of thing.
Three of my bad habits
1. Nail biting
2. Procrastinating
3. Buying stuff I don't need
Five places I have lived
1. Memphis, Tennessee
2. Cottonwood Heights, UT
3. Provo, UT
4. Lindon, Utah
5. sad but true
Five Jobs I have had
1. Mom
2. Librarian
3. Administrative Assistant
4. Hotel Front Desk Clerk
5. Lunch Prep/Delivery
Things that people do not know about me
I'm sure some of you know some of these things, but I can't think of anything that NOBODY knows, so here goes:
1. I was introduced to Jared by my very best friend, who had a crush on him. When I got together with him, I lost her as a friend.
2. The first concert I ever went to was Chicago, my sophomore year of high school. Shortly after that, my musical tastes evolved and I wouldn't have been caught dead at a Chicago concert (I've now come full circle and can appreciate the "light hits" every now and then).
3. My teeth are really horrible and I fully expect to have dentures at some point. I also had braces twice. My orthodontist was in our ward and offered to put braces back on for free (about 4 years after I got my first set off), because he couldn't stand to see teeth that he'd worked on look so bad. For me, though, I rarely give my teeth a second thought, and the fact that they're crooked, chipped, filled, crowned, stained, etc. doesn't really bother me.
4. I have an irrational, debilitating fear of vomit. It's getting a bit better, but I still have anxiety if I think someone is going to throw up.
5. I have a really addictive personality. I'm grateful for the gospel in my life and the Word of Wisdom; if I'd even tried drinking or smoking, I'd probably be totally hooked. Shopping was my obsession for a while, and I probably have enough clothing in my basement (or stored at my sisters' houses) to clothe quintuplets really well - especially if they were all girls! I'm into strollers and diaper bags now, but since my kids are getting a bit old for those, it's mostly harmless looking.

Loved learning more about you, but proud to say that I knew about most of it! :)
Since I'm a new blogger, I don't quite "get" the tagging instructions. Do I just copy and paste the stuff to my own post (obviously with my own answers), and then tag 4 more people? Not sure if I know 4 more people, but I can try.
Respond back and let me know if there's something I'm supposed to do beyond what I just described.
I can relate: totally addictive personality and I clearly have a "kid clothes" problem. Thanks so much for the tip on fitness. I will be tuning into Lifetime. Our workouts are only 3 days a week. thanks for the tip, Laura
