Accident-Prone

That's my Adam! The nasty bruise on his cheek (from pulling on the vacuum cleaner, causing the handle to whack him in the face) had almost disappeared, and I guess he was feeling a little lost without a facial injury, so he went over the arm of the couch and landed on a little toy house of Audrey's. Much screaming and blood ensued, and we spent a tense hour or so debating whether to take him to the ER or Instacare to be stitched up - he had a gash in his right eyebrow, and another on his cheekbone, just below his right eye, along with a big goose-egg/bruise from hitting the wood floor. Jared talked me out of it, told me Adam would be fine, and that all little boys need a "battle wound" or two. I'm still second-guessing the decision (I don't want my little boy's precious little face to be scarred forever!), but it did look better when he woke up this morning. Still, it's nasty enough that we considered switching from a Beast Halloween costume to a Frankenstein Halloween costume!
